Animal Science Pathway

The Animal Science Pathway lets students explore the world of animal agriculture. Designed around the elective classes, these courses will give students insight into how to properly identify, care of, manage, and treat livestock. Over this three year coursework, students will get hands-on experience with livestock at the learning laboratory and barn facility. Utilizing the school breeding herd of goats, students will learn to administer vaccinations, feed young goat kids, maintain healthy diets for show stock going to the local fairs, and learn proper livestock care and ethics.

These courses are designed to be taken in a sequential order to benefit the student and their success within the program.
