Hello my name is Hope West. I am a junior and this is my third year in the FFA program, and my first year as an officer. I show market steers and goats at Butte County and Silver Dollar Fair. I enjoy creating floral arrangements and my animal science classes. I am currently on the Vet Skills team and have competed on opening and closing, impromptu, and vegetable crop judging. Outside of FFA I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I am a member of the California Cattlemen's Association, and attend the California Cattlemens and Cattlewomen convention every year. I dedicate my time and work to helping in the community at Farm Bureau dinners and events that happen at our local moose lodge. As reporter this year I hope to involve our members, and keep them informed on events happening in our chapter. I am excited to serve my chapter and community and am looking forward to a successful year with my team
